The
Shutter Shack, a retail store specializing in custom window treatments and associated
products has been a landmark in Woodmere, NY for 38 years. Since 1970, Shutter Shack's
original success was founded on the belief that to create a successful business,
customers first need to feel that you care. The family run business became known for
exceptional personalized care and service. Within 15 years, a large customer base was
established and Shutter Shack's work extended from Woodmere to over 30,000 homes; from
penthouses in Manhattan to getaways in the Hamptons, to ski homes in Vermont and
Colorado, to winter homes in Florida. Shutter Shack recently relocated to larger quarters
from Woodmere NY to Woodbury NY. The new location has a 1200 sq. ft. showroom area which
allows us to not only exhibit more products but also better serve our customers.

Our
internet clients include universities, including
Cornell and MIT, hospitals, hotels, Army bases, houses of
worship, correctional institutions, Las Vegas casinos, as
well as over 30,000 nationwide customers. We have supplied
shutters and radiator covers for the sets of The Soprano's,
commercials for Coors, the Bruce Willis movie "Unbreakable",
as well as the new Matt Damon movie, "The Good Shepard.
Our exterior shutters were also featured on the "CBS
Early Show" segment, Today's
Homeowner with Danny Lipford.
